WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY SUPPERS -- ALL INVITED!! Each Wednesday, the Hayward community gathers from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for supper -- all are invited! Originally intended as a way to help feed those in need, our Wednesday night community suppers meet the needs of families on the go, elders who desire company, and any and all who want to come. The suppers are free of charge and are provided by volunteers from within the congregation. Come join us for supper!!

SOMETHING ABOUT EVANGELISM
It is a commitment at First Lutheran Church to welcome the stranger in our midst and to reach out in love and compassion with the Good News of Jesus Christ. This happens primarily at our regular gatherings on Sunday mornings for worship and Wednesday evenings for supper. However, it is understood that as our congregation is dismissed at the end of worship, they go as God's holy people to be the presence of Christ in the middle of their everyday worlds--not simply to be nice and good people---but so that others may know and desire the life that is ours in Jesus Christ.
